New Hampshire Motor Speedway to Appear at SpeedwayEXPO ’08
New Hampshire Motor Speedway will be one of the prominent exhibitors at this weekend’s SpeedwayEXPO ’08.
The region’s largest motorsports trade show runs from Friday through Sunday in the Mallary Complex at the Eastern States Exposition Center in West Springfield, Mass. The speedway’s booth will feature a diverse display of competitors and race cars scheduled to compete on the 1.058 mile oval throughout the 2008 season.
Matt Kobyluck, NASCAR Camping World Series East star and fan favorite, will be showing his famous No. 40 Mohegan Sun Resort Chevrolet Monte Carlo at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway display. Kobyluck will be looking to visit Victory Lane at the speedway in the New England 125 on Friday, June 27 and the New Hampshire 125 on Friday, September 12.
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is well represented by hot shoe Todd Szegedy and his No. 2 Wisk-Snuggle machine. This Mike Smeriglio owned Tour Mod won the New Hampshire 75 in September of 2007. Szegedy has six Top-Five and nine Top-10 finishes in 10 starts at the speedway. Todd will be looking to add to his already impressive New Hampshire resume at the New England 100 on Saturday, June 28 and the New Hampshire 100 on Saturday, September 13.
The Kurtis Kraft Offy Midget of Alno Motorsports will give fans a chance to connect with the roots of auto racing. SpeedwayEXPO ’08 will be the last opportunity to see this amazing race car before it roars around the oval from Tuesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 15 at the 18th Annual Vic Yerardi Memorial Vintage Celebration.
