Five Star RaceCar Bodies Continues Support of ACT
Five Star RaceCar Bodies of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin will again support the American-Canadian Tour stock car racing organization in 2008, providing award certificates to drivers at each of the 12 ACT Late Model Tour events in the U.S. and Canada, as well as at all nine races on the Série ACT Castrol schedule in Québec and Ontario.
Five Star will reward the 1st-place and 12th-place finishers at each event with a product certificate toward the purchase of parts and equipment from its extensive line of industry-leading components. In addition, Five Star will also continue with its season-end awards for both series, as well as for Late Model and NAPA Tiger Sportsman competitors in weekly events at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl in Barre, VT.
In 2007, Série ACT Castrol driver Jacques Poulin and ACT Late Model Tour competitor Jamie Aube each received a “Package A” Late Model stock car body valued at $1,500. Several other drivers, including Sportsman driver Brendan Moodie of North Wolcott, VT, received post-season certificates from Five Star. Five Star will again award the Package A body to one driver from each touring series in 2008, and has also added a Package A body for a weekly Thunder Road Late Model competitor, and a Package A Sportsman body for a NAPA Tiger Sportsman division competitor. The prizes will be awarded by random draw at each series’ 2008 Banquet of Champions.

The ACT Late Model Tour season opens at New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway next Sunday, April 20, at 1:00pm. Thunder Road’s 49th season begins with the 10th Annual Merchants Bank 150 on Sunday, May 4, and the Série ACT Castrol kicks off at Autodrome St-Eustache, just outside Montréal, on Sunday, May 18.
