Waterford, CT — With only one event completed, persistent rain showers forced the cancellation of Scout Night at the Waterford Speedbowl Saturday evening.

Art Moran III notched the Legends Young Lions 15-lap event followed by Peter Portante and Joe Cipriano.

Action resumes mid-week at the Speedbowl with Wild N’ Wacky Wednesday. On Saturday, the True Value Modified Series appears for a 100-lap event along with a full slate of action for the NASCAR Whelan All American Series.
