The NASCAR Camping World East division started as a development series for NASCAR but has turned into its own highly competitive racing series with an ever-increasing reputation for extremely intense competition.

Thompson’s Full Fender Frenzy is like a magnet for the Pro All Star Series. PASS competitors look forward to their annual appearance at the big, 5/8ths mile, Thompson Speedway. PASS fans can expect to see Mike and Ben Rowe, Cassius Clark, Rick Martin, Kelly Moore and many more of the driving stars that make the PASS series so exciting and successful.

Thompson’s incredible Late Models, Limited Sportsman and Mini Stocks will also play a big part in the Full Fender Frenzy race program. Jeff Zuidema, Marc Palmisano, Rick Gentes, Jay Stuart and Tommy O’Sullivan make up the top five in the latest Late Model points standings and each is expected to be on hand along with more than twenty other tough Late Model competitors.

The thrilling Limited Sportsman division will feature Scott Sundeen, Larry Barnett, Ed Puleo, Jesse Gleason, Joe Arena and many more in their twenty lap main. The points battle in this division is a real horse race and both Sundeen and Barnett hope to emerge from the Full Fender Frenzy event with a significant points advantage. As of this writing, Sundeen holds a two-point advantage over Barnett.

Mike Romano will lead the field of Mini Stocks in a fifteen lap feature event. Romano has been strong all season. However, Leo Defevers, Chuck Rogers, Roger Ducharme and Billy Pomposelli are all looking to stop the Romano express.

Grandstands will open at 12:30 PM and qualifying is slated for 4:15 PM. The first of five feature races is scheduled for a 6:00 PM start. The full schedule and more information may be found on the Thompson Speedway web site. www.thompsonspeedway.com.
