NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Banquet Returns to Winston-Salem
Daytona Beach, FL — The coronation for the 2008 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour champion will take place at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. Friday, Oct. 17.
The banquet marks the culimnation of NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified’s fourth season. In addition to crowning the champion, the top drivers and owners and special award winners will be honored.
Last season, L.W. Miller of Dushore, Penn. earned his first NASCAR championship.
The new Twin City Quarter includes the luxurious 315 room Marriott Hotel, the upscale 146 suite Embassy Suites Hotel and the Benton Convention Center with a combined total of 170,000 sq. ft. of flexible event space under one roof. Amenities in the TCQ include its signature restaurant WS Prime, Starbucks, SilkRoad Salon and Spa, The Grille–an American Bistro, and more.
