Stafford’s Late Models Take Center State This Fri., Aug. 22 for NE Dodge Dealers Late Model 100
Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway is back in action this Friday night, August 22nd with the second extra distance event of the 2008 season for the Late Models, the 14th Annual New England Dodge Dealers 150.
The first Late Model 100 of the 2008 season saw Dillon Moltz record what was his third consecutive victory on June 27th. Moltz took the lead from Joe Rzeszutek on lap-67 and led the rest of the way to take the checkered flag.
Entering this Friday night’s action, the see-saw battle at the top of the SK Modified® points standings sees Ted Christopher back in the lead by 6 points over Keith Rocco. Ryan Posocco continues to lead the Late Model standings by 60 points over Dillon Moltz, the SK Light points battle has Chris Matthews leading Raymond Grassetti by 26 points, Bill Davis leads Sean Foster by 20 points in the Limited Late Model division, and Norm Sears holds a 20 point lead over Jeff Jolly in the DARE Stock division.
