Monadnock Speedway Rules Meetings Coming Up
Modified Meeting…On Thursday, October 30th, the management of Monadnock Speedway will hold a meeting regarding the return of the Modifieds in 2009. The meeting will include the rules, schedule and purse structure. The modified division would be based on a ‘tour type” modified, blending rules from the True Value Modifieds, Whelen Modifieds, SK type Modifieds and the option to run a crate engine. Anyone who is interested in competing in a modified at Monadnock Speedway is encouraged to attend the meeting. The meeting will be held at the Winchester VFW (located on Main St) at 6pm. Rules Meeting…On Saturday, November 1st, the management will hold the annual rules meetings at the Winchester VFW (located on Main St) for the Outlaw Pros, Super Stocks and Mini Stocks. The management will also have a short meeting with the Late Models that competed at the speedway during the 2008 season to discuss options for 2009. The meeting times are as follows: Mini Stocks – 10am, Super Stocks – 11am, Late Models – Noon and Outlaw Pros at 1pm. The rules meetings are designed to discuss options to keep the divisions competitive at an affordable cost. Due to time, the discussions at the meeting will be limited to technical rules for the 2009 season only. Any suggestions on race procedures, rules and regulations may be discussed by calling the speedway’s office.
