Speedbowl Announces Changes to Board of Directors
The Speedbowl has announced the addition of Mark Caise to the Board of Directors. Caise holds a degree in Marketing Communication and Advertising from Western New England College. With experience in promotions and graphic design, as well as competing on the historic shoreline oval, the Board unanimously welcomes and looks forward to Caise’s addition.
Track Owner Terry Eames offered the following regarding the addition, “Mark’s addition is in keeping with the fresh, youthful approach we’re taking to bringing the ‘Bowl back. His experience in radio promotions and graphic design, as well as competing successfully on the historic shoreline oval in recent years, coupled with passion for racing and the Speedbowl, offers us an exciting combination to compliment our existing Board of Directors”.
Tom ‘Sid’ DiMaggio has resigned from the role of Multimedia Relations with the restructure. In resigning the Board, DiMaggio offered the following, “It was an honor to be part of the 5-person dynamic originally in place, but the restructure changed that dynamic beyond what I envisioned initially being part of in this venture. I depart with respect for all four people I sat on the Board with and a continued hope that the Speedbowl will thrive in 2009”.
