Speedbowl Part of Upcoming Auto Shows
Waterford, CT — The Waterford Speedbowl will be part of 2 upcoming exhibition shows, beginning with Frank Maratta’s Auto Show taking place February 6-8 at the Connecticut Expo Center in Hartford. The cars of 7-time and defending SK Modified® track champion Dennis Gada, 2008 Street Stock runner-up Walt Hovey, and 2007 & 2008 Wednesday Legends Car Champion Jason Palmer will be on display. From the Maratta show, the ‘Bowl will head to Speedway Expo ’09. The annual racing show extravaganza, located on the Big E Fairgrounds in Springfield, MA historically attracts a large turnout of tracks, race series’ and vendors offering a sneak peek at the 2009 racing season. Speedbowl exhibit details are not yet finalized and any car owners or competitors wishing to be part of the Speedbowl display are encouraged to contact TheBowlisBack@hotmail.com. We are currently seeking cars and exhibit props, plus those who may be interested in helping staff the Speedbowl booth. This year the event will be held February 27th – March 1st.
