PASS North Super Late Models Make First Seekonk Speedway Stop on August 15th
Naples ME — It’s called the Cement Palace, a track steeped in auto racing history and tradition. It’s the birthplace of Pro Stock/Super Late Model racing in New England, and on Saturday August 15th the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North will make its inaugural visit to the storied Seekonk (MA) Speedway for 150 green flag laps of super late model excitement.
“Adding Seekonk to the PASS North super late model schedule has been a goal of ours for quite some time, “said series president Tom Mayberry in making the announcement. “It’s the kind of short track where experience counts, and the southern New England racers that call Seekonk home will give the touring pros all they can handle. Our Seekonk stop is sure to be one of the highlights of the 2009 PASS season.”
PASS North kicks off its fourteen race 2009 season at Speedway 95 in Hermon Maine on May 23rd. The PASS South super late model season gets underway on March 14th at Dillon (SC) Motor Speedway.
Seekonk Speedway is on line at www.seekonkspeedway.com .
