Twin State Speedway Adds Second True Value Mod Race, Prepares for Action Packed 2009 Season
Claremont NH — Twin State Speedway owner/operator Dennis Fleury recently announced a second True Value Modified Racing Series event on Friday night, June 5th. This event, in addition to the second annual Ricky Miller Memorial 100 in October will surely be “can’t miss” races for fans of Modified racing and Twin State Speedway. The best Modified racers in the area will be represented, including local heroes Dwight and Peter Jarvis, Sean Bodreau, Kirk Alexander and former pro stock champ Rob Goodenough. Twin State Speedway is committed to Modified racing in the Connecticut River valley with it’s own affordable and exciting Pepsi Modified division providing authentic Modified racing with an economy-friendly sealed engine program.
Friday night July 31st Twin State hosts two touring series when New England’s premiere full fendered AND open wheeled tours come to town. The VT based American Canadian Tour is stated to go 100 laps and the incredibly fast NorthEastern Midget Association (NEMA) winged outlaws will go 25 blistering laps. Look for ACT Tour stars like Jean Paul Cyr and Patrick Laperle to mix it up with TSS standouts Guy Caron and Aaron Fellows, then add in local travelers Chris Bergeron and Mark Heyward and it should be an event like no other for TSS Late Model fans and racers!
With the Speedway EXPO around the corner, things will be heating up at Twin State before you know it! The first of two practice dates is Saturday April 11th, with the car show the following Saturday and the second of two test and tune days on Sunday, April 19th.. There is free grandstand admission to both practice dates and as always the car show is open and free to the public.
Of course this is all leading up to the 2009 season opener on Friday night April 24th with a full card of exciting racing and the first time for area racers and fans to say goodbye to snow and cold and hello to another awesome season of stock car racing at Twin State Speedway, their place to race in 2009!
