Third annual Speedy Awards nominees read as a Who’s Who of Northeastern motorsports
Salisbury, MA-The organizers of SpeedwayEXPO are proud to announce the nominees for the third annual Speedy Awards presented by Longacre Racing Products of Monroe, Washington. The winners will be awarded on Sunday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at SpeedwayEXPO. The 2009 nominees are:
Breakout Racer of the Year: Keith Rocco, Ryan Posocco, Eric Williams, and Max Zachem
Long Haul Award: Bub Bilodeau, Ted Christopher, Vic Miller, and Bill Park
Best Weekly Racer: Mark Flach Jr., Dennis Gada, Dillon Moltz, and Chris Turbush
Best Touring Series Racer: Randy Cabral, Johnny Clark, Matt Kobyluck, and Chris Perley
Best Weekly Show: Albany-Saratoga Speedway, Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, Stafford Motor Speedway, and Thunder Road International Speedbowl
Best Individual Performance in an Event: Vinnie Annarummo at June’s TVMRS Seekonk race, Chuck Hossfeld at June’s NWMT New Hampshire race, Patrick Laperle at the Milk Bowl, and Eddie MacDonald at June’s NCWSE New Hampshire race
Best Individual Promotion: Fall Final at Stafford Motor Speedway, Milk Bowl at Thunder Road International Speedbowl, TD Banknorth 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway, and Turkey Derby at Wall Township Speedway
