NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Opener Postponed

Due to persistent rain showers in the area and forecast for continuous rain throughout the weekend, NASCAR announced this weekend’s season opener for the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour has been postponed.

The Spring Classic 150 was scheduled for March 15 at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, N.C. The makeup date will be announced at a later date.

The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour will now begin its fifth season at Concord Speedway Saturday, March 21 with the running of the Capital Bank 150.
