3:51 p.m. — Qualifying for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour has concluded. Ted Christopher earns his 19th career Coors Light Pole Award and eighth at Thompson. Doug Coby, Glen Reen, Jamie Tomaino and Rowan Pennink. Tomaino will make his 500th NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour start in Sunday’s race, tentatively scheduled to take the green flag at 3:15 p.m.
3:48 p.m. — After a delay to clean liquid off the track in Turn 2, Jimmy Blewett, Wade Cole and Eric Goodale conclude qualifying.
3:26 p.m. — Ted Christopher knocks Doug Coby off the pole. Christopher went out 29th and posted a time of 18.612 seconds (120.890 mph)
3:18 p.m. — Mike Stefanik goes out 19th and is fourth fastest. Top three remain the same.
3:14 p.m. — After 15 cars, Doug Coby is still on the pole. Glen Reen, Chris Pasteryak, Ryan Preece and Donny Lia round out the top 5.
3:04 p.m. — After five cars have taken time, Doug Coby is the fastest at 18.719 seconds (120.199 mph)
3 p.m. — Eric Beers is the first car on the track as qualifying for Sunday’s Icebreaker gets underway.
2:52 p.m. — NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour cars on the track for their tire scuff session prior to qualifying.
1:06 p.m. — Qualifying is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. as the sun has come out.
12:42 p.m. — Tommy Cravenho is practicing and qualifying the No. 70 for driver Andy Seuss, who is competing in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour event at South Boston Saturday.
12:15 p.m. — NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour practice has concluded. Jimmy Blewett put down the fastest lap at 18.612 seconds (120.890), followed by Doug Coby and Jamie Tomaino. (CLICK HERE FOR COMPLETE PRACTICE TIMES)
