Loudon RoadRace Series Opens Their New Season on a Picture Perfect Weekend

Loudon, NH — The motorcycle aces of the Loudon RoadRace Series (LRRS) open their 2009 season on a picture perfect weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

With their strong commitment to rider training and development, the LRRS always brings close and intense racing action to the 1.6 mile road course.

The rider training comes from the Penguin Roadracing School, who schedule training days prior to each Loudon RoadRace Series weekend.  Present competitors can sharpen their skills, while future motorcycle road racers can get the training needed to become a fully licensed competitor in the Loudon RoadRace Series.  The school has rental racing leathers and bikes available for these sessions.

“The ultimate cure for cabin-fever is to be here with us on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy 27 great motorcycle races over two days,” said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway.  “The Loudon RoadRace Series is the strongest club in amateur motorcycle racing in the United States, and we are proud to be the home of this dedicated group of racers.”
