Joey Polewarczyk to Race Pro Stock at Seekonk Speedway
Hudson, NH — #97 ACT Standout Joey Pole will be trying his hand in the Pro-Stock ranks at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Massachusetts on June 20th 2009.
Pole, who sits currently tied for 2nd place in points in the American-Canadian Tour, has been contact by Car Owner Eric DeSouza to drive a Pro-Stock for him in the 75 Lap Pro-Stock Special to be held at the 1/3rd mile track; also known as “The Cement Palace”
Joey is no stranger to the track as Seekonk is where he garnered his 1st career ACT win in the 2007 Bay State 100. “We will be testing the car at Seekonk on Thursday and hopefully things go well” said Pole.
When asked if this is a 1 race deal, Pole elaborated and said:
“The Car Owner has also expressed interest in me racing in the July 14th 200 Lap PASS Race held at Lee Speedway in Epping, NH and in a August 15th 150 Lap PASS Race held at Seekonk, so we will see how it goes”
“This car is pretty stout” chimed Pole after firing it up for the first time today and “We are very excited at this opportunity and we hope this upcoming test session goes well”
