Pro Four Modifieds return to Seekonk Speedway with the Kraze’s Speed Equipment 30/30 for the Street Stocks

Seekonk, MA — The Pro Four Modifieds return to the Seekonk Speedway this Saturday, June 6 after a season layoff. Since the last time the Pro Four Modified graced the 1/3 mile oval, Norm Wrenn has gone on a tear in the Pro Fours, including being undefeated in the last 6 races, dating back to 2008. But looking over his record, there is still one track that haunts him. With an average finish of 2.89 over the past two seasons, Wrenn has visited Victory Lane in all but one other speedway. Jeff Zuidema remains as the most recent Pro Four winner at Seekonk, taking home the honors at the DAV Fall Classic in 2007 for the second consecutive year. Cory Cleary was the other winner in 2007.

Also taking center stage are the Street Stocks in the 3rd Annual Kraze’s Speed Equipment 30/30 main event. The feature will start up to 30 cars, and run for 30 green flag laps. Exeter RI’s Scott Serydynski, the tracks all-time winningest Street Stock competitor is the defending race winner, and has been consistently been in the top twelve in 2009. With some of the most competitive racing anywhere, the Street Stocks have put on some of the best shows of the season with three different winners in the first three weeks. Tony Oliviera, Ryan Lineham and Mike Mitchell have all visited Victory Lane in a division that has made qualifying as important as the race itself. Over 30 cars have signed in each week this season, forcing several cars to load up early each week.

Kraze’s Speed Equipment is located on Case Ave in Seekonk, and is the Official Parts Supplier for the Seekonk Speedway and the Pro Four Modifieds. For more information on Kraze’s, visit their website at Krazespeedequipment.com.

Also on the card for Saturday Night are the ARC Pro Stocks and the Seekonk Sport Trucks, each in a regular distance event. The Late Models will be idle for the week. The front gate opens at 4pm, with the first green flag at 6pm. Adult admission is just $12.00 with kids 12 and under FREE.
