Lindeman Wins his Third ARTS Feature

Winchester NH–Andy Lindeman won the AllStar Race Truck Series 30-lap green to checker feature event at Monadnock Speedway on Saturday, June 13th continuing his winning streak.  Greg Butler of East Hampton, CT driving the #85 sponsored by East Hampton Auto Parts sat on the pole with Derek Chriss of Averill Park, NY driving the #12 sponsored by Dan Engwer Wholesale Florist on the outside.

At the drop of the green it was the inside line that surged ahead sending the outside line toward the back.  Greg Butler and Richard Brooks of Groton, CT driving the #46 sponsored by TK’s Custom Auto set off battling for the lead with Brandon Warren of Chicopee, MA driving the #55 sponsored by Team Kurtis Fight For A Cure For Cancer In Kids and Lindeman of Poestenkill, NY driving the #3 sponsored by Dawson’s Towing and the rest of the pack closely behind them.  As Greg Butler, Brooks, Warren, & Lindeman battled for the lead amongst themselves they put a little bit of distance between themselves and the rest of the pack with Chriss, Gee Perry of Granby, CT driving the #83 sponsored by FEB Construction, John St.Germain of West Sand Lake, NY driving the #14 sponsored by JCS Repair, Dan Butler of Manchester, CT driving the #25 sponsored by DRG Custom Apparel, and Tom Smith of Hope Valley, RI driving the #64 sponsored by TK’s Custom Auto battling for 5th.

While Lindeman worked his way toward the front in the next few laps going inside first Warren and then Brooks, Perry was working his way thru the 2nd pack and chasing down the leaders.  Once Perry cleared Chriss and St.Germain it didn’t take him long to close in on the leading pack.  Up front Greg Butler did everything he could to stay on the bottom and hold off Lindeman.  Just before ½ way Lindeman moved to the outside to pass Greg Butler for the lead opening the door for Brooks to follow him on the high side into 2nd.  By lap 20 the hard charging Perry was also working his way thru the field passing trucks moving into 3rd with Warren closely behind in 4th and St.Germain, Chriss, and Smith battling for 5th.

As the laps wound down Perry and Brooks swapped positions back and forth for the last 4 laps.  At the checker it was Lindeman, Perry, and Brooks. Warren, and St.Germain.  Mike Carrigg of Southbury, CT driving the #41 sponsored by Carrigg Motorsports, making his 1st ARTS feature of the season had mechanical problems on lap 6 and was forced to pull to the inside of the track.

The AllStar Race Truck series travels next to Thompson Speedway CT Thursday June 25.
