Speedbowl Cancels July 1 Program
Waterford, CT — Waterford Speedbowl has cancelled this evening’s Wild ‘n Wacky Wednesday race program due to the continued thundershowers and heavy downpours forecasted throughout the evening.
The Speedbowl returns to action with two great events this holiday weekend. Saturday, July 4 will be the 12th annual Pepsi 300 event featuring extra-distance racing for all four NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions, highlighted by a 100-lap SK Modified feature. Main events begin at 7:00pm with qualifying preceding.
On Sunday, July 5 demolition and destruction galore will occur during the annual ‘Night of Destruction’. Four & eight cylinder demolition derbies, the always entertaining trailer race, ski race, and more Speedbowl surprises make for an affordable and fun family outing to cap the weekend’s celebration of summer and our nation’s birthday. Sunday’s Tickets are priced at just $14 for adult admission and youth age 6-14 are $5. Kids 5 and under are admitted free. The smashing and bashing gets under way at 7:00pm.
For more information on these and all upcoming events, please contact the Speedbowl track office at 860.442.1585 or visit www.speedbowl.com.
