Scouts Night and Fans On Parade headline Town Fair Tire July 25 activities at Seekonk Speedway

Seekonk, MA — With the second half of the 2009 season getting underway, it’s time to put the fans at the front of the activity table. On Saturday, July 22, Seekonk Speedway will hose their annual Town Fair Tire Fans on Parade at the Action Track of the East.

“The annual Fans on Parade is the biggest chance for the fans to take center stage,” Race Director Dave Alburn states. “With the setups and getups that these passionate folks come up with, from costumes, floats, banners, to the parade, they all enjoy being a part of it. The officials really get a kick out of seeing the smiles on the faces of these folks as they walk around the speedway.”

Our annual Scouts Night will also take place, and this time the scouts will be invited to join the Fans On Parade and help promote their troops from around the area. From Eagle to Cub, Girl to Daisies, boys and girls from all areas are invited to come down and show your enthusiasm.

Officials judge these competitors on originality, enthusiasm, display and overall enjoyment of the Fans On Parade. The drivers have been seen walking around with their family and friends as part of this spectacle. It’s a great way to come down and show everyone who your favorite driver is. Come on down and join the fun.

The nights schedule will also include ARC stock car racing, including the Pro Stocks, Late Models, Seekonk Sport Trucks and Street Stocks. The 100 foot drags will also take place as part of the program.
