NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Fireworks Extravaganza this Friday Night, Aug. 28 at Stafford Speedway
Stafford Speedway will illuminate the sky this Friday night, August 28th with a multimedia fireworks display set to music.
On the track, the championship races are coming down to wire. With four races left on the 2009 schedule, Ted Christopher leads the SK Modified® points standings by 74 points over Jeff Malave. Ryan Posocco leads the Late Model division by 24 points over Jim Peterson, Michael Gervais, Jr. leads Brit Andersen by 55 points in the SK Light Modified division, Andrew Durand leads Dan Flannery by 6 points in the Limited Late Model division with Kevin Gambacorta and Carla Botticello tied for third 20 points behind, and in the DARE Stock divsion, Don Wood holds an 8 point lead over Cliff Saunders with Bill Dunn 14 points behind in third.
