Weather Ends Day At Martinsville
Persistant Rain Forces Schedule Modifications
Martinsville, VA — Due to showers forecast throughout the afternoon Saturday, NASCAR and track officials have postponed practice and qualifying for the annual combination NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour at Martinsville Speedway.
Practice and qualifying will now be held early Sunday morning. Practice will be at 9 a.m. with qualifying scheduled for 11:45 a.m.
The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Limited Late Model division will practice from 10-11 a.m. and will hold two qualifying races starting at 1 p.m.
An on-track autograph session featuring the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour drivers will be held at 2 p.m. with pre-race activities schedule dto begin at 2:30 p.m.
The green flag for the Modified portion of the Made In America Whelen 300 will drop at 3 p.m. The 50-lap Whelen All-American Series Limited Late Model feature will begin at 5:30 p.m.
