New England Truck Series Moving Forward in 2010
The New England Truck Series held their first rules meeting at the garage of series sponsor FEB Construction in Suffield, CT Saturday December 19, 2009.
This was an introductory meeting announcing the new series name as “NEW ENGLAND TRUCK SERIES” formally the ARTS series, and discussion of rule changes.
The new staff on board for NETS 2010 season, is Series Director: Lorraine Pard, Race Day Directors Josh Vanada, and Scott Michie, along with Administration/Official: Michelle Pard, Photographer/Official: Ann Marie Pard, and Chief Tech: Bob Ormond.
The NETS can always be counted on to present an exciting and competitive race.
The truck competitors are looking forward to start racing soon, as they are putting there final touches on their race trucks.
For 2010, our engine program has expanded to include along with our #302, #305, and #318’s, we now are on board with the GM Crate Motor program to include the # 602 and # 603 sealed engines to our list. This years schedule is nearly completed and will be announced soon. The tracks this season that we will be racing at include Monadnock Speedway in Winchester NH, Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan NH, Twin State Speedway in Claremont, NH, Thompson Speedway Thompson, CT, and Albany-Saratoga Speedway in Malta, NY.
