A.B. CDL Training Center named title sponsor of Speedbowl Truck division
Waterford, CT — Waterford Speedbowl officials have announced A.B. CDL Training Center of Waterford has become the title sponsor of its NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Truck division. The division will be known as the A.B. CDL Training Center Trucks for remainder of the 2010 season. Each Truck competing will display decals supporting the sponsor and its website, BeASafeTrucker.com.
“Truck safety is our mission” said Thomas Moysey, owner and instructor at A.B. CDL Driver Training Center. “This sponsorship just fits. In trucking, just as racing, the driver must always think safety. As our company’s motto states, The A.B. Training Center is the driver’s solution to safety”.
The division will compete in 25-lap races at numerous Saturday night events throughout the remainder of the Speedbowl’s 2010 season and is designated as the track’s Division 5 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series program, enabling competitors to receive national points and accolades. The popular division has already seen competition in two Speedbowl events this year with one of the Speedbowl’s all-time best, Allen Coates, winning both. Coates is fifth on the track’s all-time win list with 73 career victories and now calls the A.B. CDL Training Center Truck division home. He also chose the division to start the budding racing career of his son Corey. “These trucks are just plain fun to drive, fun to race. We’re happy to have the support of a title sponsor” offered the veteran Speedbowl chauffeur.
The next race for the A.B. CDL Training Center Truck Division will be held on Saturday April 24. A special pre-race ceremony will welcome A.B. CDL Training Center as the title sponsor. For the complete 2010 A.B. CDL Training Center Truck division schedule of events, log onto Speedbowl.com.
