Stafford Speedway Welcomes Darrell Yarborough Nationwide Insurance Agency to Contingency Program
Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway’s 2010 Contingency Program has added a new partner in Darrell Yarborough Nationwide Insurance. Thanks to the Darrell Yarborough Agency, each Stafford SK Light Modified third place finisher will leave the track with an extra $50 in their pockets. With 23 events on the 2010 calendar, SK Light competitors can take home an additional $1,150 during the 2010 season.
“We’re all really excited about working with the Speedway,” said Darrell Yarborough, owner of the Darrell Yarborough Agency. “I have relocated to Connecticut from Mooresville, NC, which is the heart of NASCAR country and with Nationwide being involved with NASCAR and sponsoring the Nationwide Series, we thought it was a natural fit for us to become a sponsor at Stafford Motor Speedway. We’re looking to market ourselves and get our name out there to customers and try to gain some of the market share. We’re all race fans at heart and we’re looking forward to lending a helping hand to the SK Light Modified competitors at Stafford Motor Speedway this season. We try to bring insurance down to a personal level with our customers and we’re hopeful that this will be the first step towards building a long-term relationship.”
In addition to becoming a contingency partner this season, the Darrell Yarborough Agency will spice things up on Friday, June 18th at Stafford Motor Speedway by bringing a Nationwide race car simulator as well as a Nationwide show car to the track.
“We’re all looking forward to the June 18 event at Stafford,” said Yarborough. “Nationwide is providing us with a race car simulator and a show car to have on display that night. It’s going to be a big night for us, we’ve already handed out some flyers promoting the simulator and show car, and we’ve received tremendous positive feedback. While we will fire up the engine in the show car for the fans, Nationwide isn’t going to let us take the car out onto the racetrack and turn some laps!”
In addition to the excitement of NASCAR, the Darrell Yarborough Agency also has exciting things coming to the forefront in the insurance business. Beginning May 8th, the Darrell Yarborough Agency will be offering a new line of auto insurance through Nationwide, making Connecticut one of only four states in the country to offer the program.
“We’re really excited about this new auto insurance program that is launching on May 8th,” said Yarborough. “It’s a new line of auto insurance with on your side awards like accident and minor violation forgiveness, gap coverage, diminishing deductible, and new car replacement at a low price.”
