Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment & Seekonk Speedway Announce Special Event
Seekonk, MA — Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment and Seekonk Speedway jointly announce a special race event- RACING AGAINST BREAST CANCER. This special race event is coordinated through the American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and the Racing Against Cancer Team. The event is scheduled for Saturday October 2, 2010 with a rain date of Sunday October 3, 2010.
“Seekonk Speedway is honored to host this special event to support the fight against breast cancer”, says Francis Venditti, Seekonk Speedway General Manager. Headlining this exciting racing event is a 100 lap super modified race by the International Super Modified Association (ISMA).
“We are excited about our return to Seekonk Speedway after a five year absence and look forward to the opportunity to participate towards such a worthy cause”, says ISMA President Howie Lane. Also in competition for the first time ever at Seekonk Speedway is the small block super modifieds from Lee USA Speedway. “Having both ISMA and the Lee USA Speedway small block super modifieds competing in separate events, should make for a very entertaining racing event”, says race promoter Gary Sagar.
Also on the race card is a 75 lap $1,000 to win Northeast Mini Stock Tour race and the New England Powder Puff championship race with Seekonk legal enduro cars.
