FOGHAT to Headline Pre-Race Activities at the LENOX Industrial Tools 301
Loudon, NH — Vintage blues and classic rock band FOGHAT will kick start the LENOX Industrial Tools 301, during pre-race activities for a concert and will also be featured as the National Anthem performers on Sunday, June 27.
The Multi-Gold and Platinum selling, 1970’s rock band, whose hits include the classics “Slow Ride”, “Road Fever”, ” Fool for the City”, “Drivin’ Wheel”, and “I Just Want to Make Love to You” among others, continue to tour relentlessly. They are back promoting their new blues album ‘Last Train Home,’ that combines covers of classics such as “So Many Roads, “So Many Trains” and “Shake Your Money Maker,” as well as a few new originals including their new single “Born for the Road”.
Not only will FOGHAT be on stage for the pre-race concert, but race fans can enjoy Comic Book Heroes, a guitar driven, alternative rock band as the opening act for the blues band.
Their hit song “Move Out of the Way” is also the featured song for ESPN’s broadcast of the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series. Comic Book Heroes recently emerged as one of the most promising young rock bands, having just graduated high school, CBH is preparing for a new CD release and a tour. Comic Book Heroes drummer Collin MacGregor is the son of Craig Macgregor, bassist for FOGHAT. Comic Book Heroes will also be meeting fans at the Sprint Experience corporate display on Saturday, June 26th.
Fans can pickup FOGHAT’s new album ‘Last Train Home,’ which hit stores on June, 15.
