Fast Friday slowed by rain
Seekonk, MA — With a steady rain, Seekonk Speedway officials were forced to cancel the Fast Friday action scheduled for July 23. This is the first cancellation of the Fast Friday series of the season, but just the latest in a long line of weather issues for the speedway.
Fast Friday will spend the next week idle as Seekonk Speedway gears up for their Mid Summer Thrill Show, featuring the Spectator Drags, Enduro Drags, Truck Enduro Drags, Enduro racing, Car and Truck Figure Eights, and the only appearance of the season of the Monster Trucks. The Pure Stocks will also be part of the Thrill Show program.
Fast Friday returns on August 6, when the Pure Stocks, Sport4, and SYRA classes compete in their Mid Season Championship events. Action starts at 7pm. Adult admission is just $5.00, with kids 12 and under FREE. For more information, check us out at seekonkspeedway.com.
