Seekonk, MA — Kraze Korlaki Speed Equipment, Inc., and Seekonk Speedway jointly announce the registration of legendary daredevil/stuntman “Evel Knievel’s” granddaughter in the New England Powder-Puff Championship Race as part of Racing Against Breast Cancer on October 2nd at the famous Cement Palace. Kryston Knievel, of Chicago, Ill., Evel’s granddaughter, will drive the #1 powder-puff entry, as one of two prepared mounts from Charlestown, RI.
“This is my first attempt at competing in any type of auto racing which should be a lot of fun while supporting a cause which has affected many people I know”, said Kryston by telephone from Chicago. In addition to competing in the powder-puff race, Kryston will also be singing the National Anthem during opening ceremonies. Kryston’s first experiences singing the National Anthem began at a young age singing at opening ceremonies for her daredevil father Kaptain Robbie Knievel, and have continued professionally as a singer of the National Anthem for the Chicago Bulls Basketball Team, and as a lead singer with the Chicago band De Javu. An original “Evel Knievel” custom chopper ’ will be on display during the event.
