New Hampshire Motor Speedway Welcomes Race Fans, Snow Matter What
Loudon, NH — Weary snow-bound New Englanders are eager to get back in the grandstands at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after a thrilling NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season opener in sunny Daytona Beach, Fla.
A few loyal race fans showed their enthusiasm on a frigid February afternoon, sneaking a peek at their seats for New England’s three largest sporting events this summer.
Despite the wintery conditions some of “The Magic Mile’s” truly dedicated fans made the most of the weather by making snow angels, tossing snowballs and sledding on the 1.058-mile oval.
Milo, the track’s fun-loving mascot, also showed his excitement for racing’s return to the Granite State by aiding in the New Hampshire Motor Speedway snow removal process.
The calendar may still say winter in New Hampshire, but racing is just months away at New England’s largest sports and entertainment facility.
Tickets for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 on July 17, the INDYCAR 225 on Aug. 14 and the SYLVANIA 300 on Sept. 25 are now available and can be purchased by calling the NHMS ticket hotline at (603) 783-4931 or visiting www.nhms.com.
