Volunteer Opportunities at “The Magic Mile”

Loudon, NH — New Hampshire Motor Speedway becomes the largest city in the Granite State three times this year when NASCAR and INDYCAR race into town.

With one of the most ambitious racing schedules in the 21-year history of the speedway, we are looking to YOU for assistance.

During each major event weekend, “The Magic Mile” relies on a team of enthusiastic fundraising groups to help with parking, cleaning, concession work and much more. With the addition of INDYCAR, the speedway can use your organization’s help more than ever! Not only is it a fantastic team building experience, it’s a great way to supplement a portion of your group’s budget, to help raise money by being paid for the hours worked.

It doesn’t matter if you are 14 or 70; New Hampshire Motor Speedway offers two great opportunities for your group to make a buck!

The first option is a daytime program. Groups participating in this program will work in the various guest services departments. This is a full day commitment and has a minimum age of 16 years old although some positions require the volunteer to be older.

The second opportunity is the late afternoon and evening cleaning shift. These volunteers prepare the speedway facility for the next day’s activities by cleaning the grandstands, parking lots and the hospitality area. The shift is four hours long and typically starts at 4:30 p.m. during event weekends. The minimum age for this group is 14.

For information about the early evening program (minimum age is 14 years old), contact Gus Garside at ggarside@nhms.com.

For information about the all day program (minimum age is 16 years old) with many positions requiring older participants, contact Debbie O’Neil at doneil@nhms.com.
