LRRS Invades NHMS This Weekend
Loudon, NH — The roar of motorcycles can be heard this weekend as the Loudon Road Race Series returns to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for its second event of 2011, today through Sunday.
At speeds of up to 175 mph, the series two-wheeled stars will tackle the tricky 12-turn, 1.6 “Magic Mile” road course.
Motorcycle fans can check out all of the local LRRS riders including: Shane Narbone of Tyngsboro, Mass., Brent Lyskawa, Loudon, N.H. native Christian Cronin, Scott Greenwood of Dunbarton, N.H. and Sandown, N.H., native Rick Doucette.
New England’s U.S. Legends Car Series, the Amsoil Nelcar Legends Tour, will be on track again today, beginning approximately at 5:15 p.m. The Legend races will feature two practices, two heat races and two main events.
Grandstands will open at noon this weekend. A family four-pack costs just $20. Infield admission is sold separately. The Checkered Flag restaurant and Levy concession stands will also be open throughout the weekend.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will make its first trip to Dover International Speedway for the FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks. Television coverage begins at 1 p.m. on FOX.
Tickets for all 2011 events at New Hampshire Motor Speedway are available now for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 on July 17, the INDYCAR 225 on Aug. 14 and the SYLVANIA 300 on Sept. 25.
