Penalty Announced From June 3rd NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Program at Stafford Motor Speedway
Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has announced the following penalty following the running of the June 3 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature events.
Ryan Preece, driver of the No. 40 SK Modified®, has been penalized for a rules violation committed this past Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway. Preece was penalized from his third place finish to the 13th place finishing position for violating rule 20E-2.2 OVERALL CAR WEIGHT of the 2011 Stafford Motor Speedway SK Modified® rulebook. Preece’s car was found to be 10 pounds under the minimum allowance and he was thusly penalized 10 positions, one position for each pound his car was under weight.
The violation occurred during the June 3rd SK Modified® feature.
