Motorcyle Week, Classic Wrap Up at NHMS
Loudon, NH — An exciting weekend of motorcycle racing will wrap up today with several thrilling events at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Once again fans can check out the Sidecar Racers Association as they begin the day with a practice session before they take laps around “The Magic Mile” this afternoon.
Formed in 1968 by a group of Toronto motorcycle enthusiasts, this three-wheeled series is one of the most exciting and challenging forms of racing and is the only form of motorsports where the driver and passenger steer the vehicle.
The professional riders of the American Sportbike Racing Association will take on the 1.6-mile road course for the first time this weekend with a series of races beginning at 12:35 p.m.
For the fourth consecutive year the speedway will host New Hampshire State Legislators Parade Lap. Several renowned state political figures will take to the track for the ceremonial parade beginning at 11:45 a.m.
Shaun Buffington looks to capture his fourth consecutive NELCAR Legends Tour checkered flag at NHMS at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The 88th Loudon Classic continues through today. Tickets are available at the Main Gate.
