NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour No. 10 Driver Penalized for Rules Violations at Monadnock
Daytona Beach, FL — NASCAR announced today the No. 10 driver that competes in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour has been penalized as a result of a rule violation committed Sunday, June 26, at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H.
Driver Ed Flemke Jr. was found to be in violation of Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing; aggressive driving in the pit area) of the 2011 NASCAR rule book. The violation occurred during the race.
As a result, Flemke Jr. has been fined $500, suspended from NASCAR until the fine is paid, and placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31, 2011.
