ISMA Announces 3 Pre-Qualifier Races for Seekonk Speedway’s Racing Against Cancer 100
Essex, MA — Howie Lane, President of the International Super Modified Association, (ISMA), and Gary Sagar, President of Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment, Inc.,race promoter, jointly announce 3 pre-qualifier races for Seekonk Speedway’s Racing Against Cancer 100 on Saturday October 1ST, featuring 100 laps of super modified racing. Winners of these events will be awarded a guaranteed starting position. The 4th Annual Wings & Wheels on Saturday August 13th at the Waterford Speed Bowl, Waterford, CT., the Ollie Silva Memorial Super Modified Classic on Friday, August 19th at Lee USA Speedway Lee, New Hampshire, and the Star/International Classic on Saturday September 10th at Star Speedway, Epping, New Hampshire will guarantee 3 positions in what is expected to be a large field of Super Modifieds attempting to qualify for the Seekonk event.
“Last year’s event at Seekonk Speedway was the only New England track where we had to run a Consolation Race; guaranteeing 3 starting positions through these 3 pre-qualifiers adds to the excitement of our return”, says ISMA’s Lane. “Our fans were treated to a great Super Modified Race in 2010; this year should be even better!
Johnny Benson, Jr. has a big circle around this date and is excited about defending his first Super Modified Win. These 3 venues provide an excellent complement to the race at the famed Cement Palace”, adds Kraze’s Sagar. Joining ISMA on the race card are the Small Block Super Modifieds from Lee USA Speedway, Lee, NH, the NEMA Lites, a 50 Lap Open Rules Street Stock Race , and the Kraze Triple Crown Championship Powder-Puff Race.
