Penalties Announced from Oct. 1-Oct. 2 CARQUEST Fall Final Program at Stafford Motor Speedway
Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has announced the following penalties following the running of the October 1-October 2 CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature events.
Woody Pitkat, driver of the No. 88 Late Model, and Ryan Posocco, driver of the No. 48 Late Model, have been penalized for a rules violation committed this past Sunday in the Late Model feature at Stafford Motor Speedway.
Both Pitkat and Posocco have been disqualified from their respective first and fifth place finishes for violating the VALVE SPRING RETAINERS subsection of rule 20F-5.5.6 HEADS (The only steel retainers allowed will be of a weight no lighter than 30 grams.) of the 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model rulebook.
Mark St. Hilaire, driver of the No. 3 Late Model, was penalized for a rules infraction that occurred this past Sunday in the Late Model feature at Stafford Motor Speedway.
St. Hilaire was disqualified from his second place finishing position for violating rule 20F-5.5.6 HEADS (Other head modifications that are not permitted include but are not limited to: Porting, polishing) of the 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model rulebook.
Dillon Moltz, driver of the No. 94 Late Model, was disqualified from his third place finishing position in Sunday’s Late Model feature for refusing to present his car for post-race technical inspection.
Kelsey Rottino, driver of the No. 36 DARE Stock, was penalized for a rules infraction that occurred this past Saturday in the DARE Stock feature at Stafford Motor Speedway.
Rottino was disqualified from his first place finishing position for violating rule 20F- 5.10 CARBURETOR (Alterations to allow additional air to be picked up below the opening of the venturi such as altered gaskets; base plates and drilling holes into the carburetor will not be permitted.) of the 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series DARE Stock rulebook.
