Forward’s Garage and S.K. Bean’s Enfield Garage are Legion Speedway Sponsors
WENTWORTH, NH – Two of the Upper Connecticut River Valley’s premier auto and truck service centers have indicated their support of local dirt track racing by signing on as sponsors at Legion Speedway. Forward’s Garage and Auto Body of Lebanon and S.K. Bean’s Enfield Garage may compete for business, but both agree that Legion Speedway is a great place to find new customers.
Forward’s Garage and Auto Body is the 2012 title sponsor of Legion Speedway’s headline class, the Modified Sportsman. “The Forward Family has been involved in racing for generations and we appreciate the confidence they’ve demonstrated by signing on as a title sponsor,” said Wally Brown who, along with his wife Janine, is promoting and operating Legion Speedway for the 2012 season and beyond. “Tim Forward is well known in racing circles and we look forward to working with him on some interesting promotions as a title sponsor this year.”
S.K. Bean’s Enfield Garage will jump start the season by sponsoring the Legion Speedway Grand Opening on Sunday May 27. “Stuart Bean is our neighbor here in Enfield,” Brown said, “having someone who knows us well demonstrate enough confidence to sponsor opening day means a lot.”
Located on NH Route 25 at the Rumney/Wentworth town line, Legion Speedway offers exciting, wheel-to-wheel twilight dirt track racing on a quarter mile semi-banked oval every Sunday from May through September. The Sprint Cars of New England will visit four times during the season and the 500cc Granite State Mini Sprints will be in the house three times.
A pre-season test and tune session for the Sportsman Modifieds, Super Streets, Mini Stocks and 600cc Mini Sprints gets things going on May 20. Racing begins on Memorial Day weekend May 27, with hot laps at 4:30 pm and racing at 5:00.
