Seekonk Speedway goes Mobile
Seekonk, MA — “There’s an app for that.” Those are the words coming from the fans of Seekonk Speedway. With the increase in smartphone usage, Seekonk Speedway has become a leader in the information age, announcing the all new Seekonk Speedway mobile app.
“With the advancement of mobile devises and the opportunity to give our customers information at their fingertips, moving in this direction was a smart decision.” Vice President Francis Venditti stated. “It gives folks the opportunity to find out what is happening, see upcoming events, get coupons that will be available just to the app users, check out the updated points and more.”
“Being at the forefront of the newest technology is putting us at the front of the pack when it comes to giving our fans the most information. Last year, we integrated our AMB Electronic Timing and Scoring System to our customers, and this just seemed like a natural progression.” continued Venditti.
There are links to their Facebook page, an upcoming Twitter page, rosters, concession menu’s and look at some of the action shots taken throughout the nights. There will also be an opportunity for fans to send their own photos, and a fan wall so fans can connect with each other.
“We are also hoping to add a couple of more things to the Seekonk Speedway App.” Ed St. Germain of Top Shelf Web Designs, creator of the new app. “Fans will get instant feedback on weather conditions, as well as being included in “app only” promotions and contests.”
According to the National Race Track Directory, Seekonk is the among the first short tracks in the nation to feature it own mobile app.
