Whelen Modifieds Postponed At Riverhead
Rain Forces Riverhead 200 Postponement To Sept. 15
RIVERHEAD, N.Y. – The Riverhead 200 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race scheduled for tonight at Riverhead (N.Y.) Raceway has been postponed due to rain at the track, and a forecast for continued precipitation on Long Island.
The Riverhead 200, which would have been the seventh of 14 events on the 2012 Whelen Modified Tour schedule, will now be contested on Saturday, Sept. 15.
The next Whelen Modified Tour event will now be the Stafford 150 on Friday, Aug. 3 and Stafford (Conn.) Motor Speedway.
