Bill’s Auto Repair & George’s & Ken’s Collision to Sponsor 50-Lap Open $1,000 to Win Street Stock Race as Part of the Seekonk 200
Seekonk — Bill’s Auto Repair of Canton, Ma. & George’s and Ken’s Collision of Needham, Ma, have partnered to sponsor the 50 Lap Open $1000 to win Street Stock Race as part of the Seekonk 200 on Saturday September 29th at the famous Seekonk Speedway. This exiting racing division of Seekonk regulars will be joined by race teams from other New England tracks.
“We have invited teams from Beech Ridge, Lee, Thompson & Waterford to try their luck around the tough 1/3 mile Cement Palace”, said race promoter Gary Sagar of Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment in Seekonk.
“Bobby Ambroceo, owner of Bill’s Auto Repair and former competitor at Seekonk Speedway and Danny Savary, owner of George’s & Ken’s Collision, are racing enthusiasts who have long supported the sport of auto racing. We are honored by their partnership to one of Seekonk’s most exciting racing divisions” added Sagar.
The Seekonk 200 is a special race event combining 200 Laps of exciting auto racing which includes the Northeast Midget Association (NEMA) showcase event the Boston Louie Memorial Classic, 100 Laps by the ground pounding Super Modifieds of the International Super Modified Association (ISMA), with the 200 year anniversary of the Town of Seekonk, Ma which was incorporated in 1812. In recognition of the town’s birthday, the race will pay a $100 bonus to the leader on Lap 18 and $100 bonus to the leader on Lap 12.
