Speedbowl prepares for 2013; track forms now available
Waterford, CT — Speedbowl management has announced track forms for the 2013 season are now available. Car Number Request & Registration Forms as well as Driver Applications for the upcoming year are posted on the track’s website, Speedbowl.com. The popular “early-bird” sale for 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Season Passes is back and order forms available online.
Car owners and drivers planning to compete in 2013 are required to return completed registration forms at their earliest convenience for all race divisions. Car owners renewing a number used in competition during at least one event in 2012 have until January 31, 2013 to return a completed registration form before their number may be made available to others. The car number registration fee remains at $35.00 for 2013.
A limited advance sale price for 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Season Passes returns for the fourth consecutive year. Savings greater than 50% off the retail price is available for 2013 Season’s Pit Passes with a $399.00 offer during the special promotion. Adult General Admission Grandstands Season Passes for 2013 are currently on special for $329.00 including admissions tax, more than 40% off the retail pricing.
Season Passes grant admission to all 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series sanctioned race events only. The pre-season special is limited to the first 50 passes sold for each, pits and grandstands.
VIP Parking Passes give Season Pass holders priority parking during NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events and are on sale for an additional $50.00 per pass. The Season Pass order form can be utilized to purchase VIP Parking Passes.
The 2013 event schedule is nearing completion. Blastoff 2013 kicks off the Speedbowl’s 63rd consecutive season of operation with a three-day,
13-division event. Highlighting the racing card will be a 100-lap race for the Valenti Modified Racing Series, 25-lap NEMA Midget race and special 63-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified® feature. Blastoff 2013 is slated for April 12 through April 14, 2013. Following the opener, 24 additional NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events are tentatively scheduled culminating with the annual Finale Weekend, planned for October 4 through 6, 2013. Full schedule details are expected in the coming weeks.
"There are no major schedule overhauls planned for 2013, we have a good thing going" offered Speedbowl owner Terry Eames. "A few adjustments are
in the works, but as of now a similar overall schedule can be expected".
In addition to Driver Application, Car Number Registration and Season Pass “early-bird” sale order forms, additional documents are ready for 2013. Rookie of the Year Applications, youth/minor releases and Family Fun event registration forms are posted. Forms can be found by visiting Speedbowl.com located under “The ‘Bowl” drop down menu.
