Tire Rules Annoucned for Late Model 100 & Modified 100 at Canaan Fair
TIRE RULES ANNOUNCED FOR LATE MODEL 100
With the change in the scheduled event for Saturday, June 29th, the Newport Chevrolet Late Models will now headline the show with 100 laps of feature racing, paying $1,000 to
win, and a solid purse throughout the field. The tire rule for the event will be as follows: All Late Model teams may purchase up to three new tires on the day of the event for the event. The four tires that you start the event with will be the four tires that must be used throughout the race unless an official allows a tire change due to a cut tire. There will be two fifty lap segments.
TIRE RULE ANNOUNCED FOR MODIFIED 100 ON JULY 6, 2013
The tire rule for the Modified 100 scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2013 will be as follows: All Modified teams may purchase up to three new tires on the day of the event for the event. The four tires that you start the event with will be the four tires that must be used throughout the race unless an official allows a tire change due to a cut tire. There will be two thirty lap segments and a forty lap segment.
