Jackie Houle Passes at 72

February 3, 1941 – July 22, 2013

Houle, Jacqueline, 72, of Coventry passed away July 22, 2013. She was the wife of Richard G. Houle.

Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of Bertha (Chatell) Gil and the late Anthony Gil. Mrs. Houle was a retired self employed hairdresser, co-owner of Houle Motorsports, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Chapter of Pink Heals. The most cherished of Jackie’s life is and always will be her family. She loved going to Seekonk Speedway to be with all her friends and was an avid NASCAR fan. Jackie’s legacy will live on through the Pink Heals Mission.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her children; Kelley Donovan and fiancé Robert and Ted Dion and life partner Niessen Schiller, stepchildren; Anita Forest and husband Steve and Patricia Houle, sister; Janice Gil, grandchildren; Jeffrey, Ryan and Danielle Donovan, step grandchildren; Anthony and Lauren Lombardo and step great grandchildren; Giovanni, Ophelia and Anthony Christian Lombardo. She was the sister of the late George Gil and stepmother of the late Rick Houle.

Funeral Friday, July 26th at 9:30am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Sts. John and James Church, 20 Washington St., West Warwick. Burial will be private. Calling hours: Thursday, July 25th 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks donations be sent to the Rhode Island Chapter of Pink Heals, 53 Providence St., Suite 5, West Warwick, RI or to the Philip Hulitar Center, Home and Hospice Care of RI.
