PRACTICE: Szegedy Tops at Monadnock

WINCHESTER, N.H. — Todd Szegedy ran 50 laps of practice Saturday around Monadnock Speedway, and it was his 49th of the day that left him atop the Town Fair Tire Whitcomb 200 speed charts.
The 2011 race winner at Monadnock had a lap of 12.585 seconds (71.514 mph) around the .25-mile asphalt oval.
Points leader Ryan Preece, last year’s winner, was second at 12.618 (71.327), followed by Eric Goodale at 12.629 (71.265).
Bryan Chew and Patrick Emerling rounded out the top five. Patrick Emerling, Ted Christopher, Mike Stefanik, Donny Lia, Eric Berndt and Ron Silk completed the top 10.
