Memo: All ACT Late Model Teams – New Hampshire Motor Speedway
1. The ACT BOND AUTO Invitational at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway during NASCAR Cup weekend at NHMS is always one of the most exciting parts of the ACT schedule. The invited teams get courtesy entrance to the pits, have one of the largest purses of the year, and with the bonus money paid throughout the season to various qualifiers and this year progressive bonus payouts through the scoring after a first time winner, the money is better than ever.
2. NHMS has increased the winners share from $5,000 last year to $7,500 in 2013!!
3. ACT and NHMS have worked to make this event more time friendly to the ACT teams. Tire compound opens and Registration for weekend will be available from 2:00 until 6:00. We will have all cars placed in pits and tire mounting completed by 8:00 on Friday evening. We have been allotted an hour of practice on Saturday morning, which doubles the practice and scuff sessions of prior seasons. We also are scheduled to finish our race around 6:00 on Saturday evening, September 21st. The Saturday program includes a NASCAR Modified event and K&N event.
3. Initial invitations to the 2013 ACT BOND Auto Invitational will be going out the week of August 12. Please contact the ACT office with your acceptance as soon as possible.
4. There is a full day practice scheduled for NHMS for ACT teams on Wednesday, September 4th. We need to make arrangements for tires for that practice session so please notify the ACT office if you plan to attend as soon as possible, no later than August 21st.
5. Please notify ACT office of your intent to practice at NHMS. Late Model teams must have prior approval to practice at NHMS.
