Canaan 100 This Saturday Night!
Canaan, NH — It is with mixed emotions that the Granite State Pro Stock Series rolls into the Canaan Fair Speedway this Saturday night. When the Checkered Flag falls on the 100 lap main event it will be the final one that will wave at this speedway, As the Speedway has been sold and no racing is planned in the future.
“There is a lot of buzz for this event from all the divisions that are competing,” stated series president Mike Parks.
The GSPSS will compete in a 100 Lap main event, According to series Race director Josh Vanada we are looking at what could be our largest field to date. Making there first GSPSS runs this weekend will be ACT competitor Joey Pole. Pole stated that he has been to Hudson and watched our events there and is impressed with what he has seen and it was time to dust off the Pro Stock and come and have some fun. Also making their first appearance this season will be long time racer Bryon Baker, Dave Davis and coming out of retirement for one more run Wayne Helliwell Sr. Add in defending Canaan Fair Speedway Pro-Stock Champion Jeremy Davis current Point Leader Mike O’Sullivan it has all the makings of a historic event.
Also on the card will be the Ultra Fast Pro Four Modifieds the return of the Super Streets, Pure Stocks and the Bandits. Come and be a part of history as the Granite State Pro Stock Series brings the final checkered flag down at the Canaan Fair Speedway. Post time is 5pm.
