Noll Celebrates NETS Monadnock Speedway 2013 Sweep

On Saturday September 14th, The New England Truck Series rolled into Monadnock Speedway’s Champion’s Night with a championship showing of it’s own. Defending series champion Duane Noll continued his domination of the New Hampshire short track with his fourth victory of the season there. It was an all-champions podium as 5 time series champion Andy Lindeman took second and former champion Chris Correll finished third.

Duane Noll, started from the pole in his Sparkling Angels Cleaning #2 Chevy, with the #151 Ford of Tony Lafo on the outside. Andy Lindeman’s in #3 made his first start of 2012 from the third position, with second place points man Glen Noll’s #72 outside row two and Rookie of the Year leader #5 Pete Cayer started in 5th. At the green flag, Duane Noll pulled out to an early lead with Lindeman in tow to the inside. Further back in the pack there was contact between Cayer and the #7 of Correll, resulting in damage to the #5 truck and a caution for debris. Once the track was cleared, Noll again pulled out to the lead, with Lindeman close behind. Correll would move from his 6th starting spot past both Lafo and Glen Nolll, but was unable to reel in the two leaders. Lindeman was in Duane Noll’s tire tracks for the duration, but the defending champ never gave Lindeman an opening to make a move. Glen Noll would battle furiously with Lafo, wrestling fourth place away from the 151, and dropping Lafo to 5th in the finishing order.

The next event for the New England Truck Series is September 28th at Stafford Motor Speedway, the Annual Shirley Lindeman Memorial Race held in honor of NETS number one fan. Leading the parade around the track will be in the # 3 Chevy Truck of Andy Lindeman. Harold & Cindy Burdick, the Cindy Burdick Motorsports #151 Team and Andy Lindeman are proud sponsors of the Shirley Lindeman event.
