Louis Fray, age 88, of Shelton, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Shirley (Erbe) Fray.
Louis was born in Derby on September 4, 1925 son of the late Julius and Elizabeth (Kovacs) Fray and has been a lifelong Shelton resident.
Louis was a proud US Navy veteran of World War II. He was a welder for Fray Welding Company with his brother before retiring. He was a four time Midget Auto Racing Club champion and a member of the Atlantic Coast Old Timers (ACOT). Louis also enjoyed restoring his race car and working in his yard.

His services are private and have been entrusted to the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton.
