Ownership of Granite State Pro Stock Series Transferred to Mike Parks
Mike Parks and Jack Bateman are pleased to announce that the group accustomed to running under the Granite State Pro Stock Series banner will continue to do so in 2014 and beyond. Following a meeting of the two parties, Bateman has agreed to transfer ownership of the sophomore Series to Parks, who has served as the Series’ President since it’s inception.
“I’m grateful to Jack for working with me to resolve this issue. He has been a great support to us over the last two years, and I am glad that our agreement is in the best interest of the 69 teams that participated in the Granite State Pro Stock Series this year. We will be fortunate enough to have him around to advise on technical policies and procedures moving forward,” Parks said.
Bateman, who has served as Series Vice President and owner since 2012, has offered his consulting services and will be counted on for input on technical matters. In addition, Bateman’s company, Jack’s Competition Engines, will serve as the tire vendor for the Series.
The Granite State Pro Stock Series will move forward with the crowning of Mike O’Sullivan as the Series’ second champion on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Yard Restaurant in Manchester, NH.
